Teach at Anthem
Anthem is growing, and we're looking for instructors who love teaching as much as they love playing. If that's you - or someone you know - we'd love to talk.
We're looking for teachers first
Plenty of people can play. We're looking for the ones who can teach - people who enjoy working with kids and beginners, know how to make a lesson fun, and understand that great teaching goes beyond showing someone what notes to play.
At Anthem, we teach the mechanics of an instrument, but we also teach the why behind the music. We want students to understand what they're playing, build confidence, and become lifelong musicians - not just learn a handful of songs. Our students span all ages and all learning styles, including students who learn differently - patience and adaptability matter as much here as chops.
Current needs
Guitar & Ukulele
Beginners through intermediate players - acoustic, electric, and uke.
Piano
Young beginners through advancing students. Classical foundation, modern application.
Drums & Percussion
First beats through full-kit control.
Children's Music Classes
Two levels - PreK (ages 2–4) and Kinder (ages 4–6), capped at 4 students per class. Rhythm, movement, and joyful first exposure; comfort across piano, guitar, ukulele, and some drums is a big plus.
Our biggest needs are weekday afternoons and weekends. Instructors teach on a contract basis at our studio in downtown McKinney - scheduling, billing, and studio operations are handled for you, so your time goes into teaching.
Don't see your instrument? Reach out anyway. Anthem is growing, and we also keep a trusted network of teaching partners across the local music community - good teachers are always worth knowing.
